Eula Smith, Creator and Owner of EMS Consulting, started her fashion career at the world-renowned retail giant Nordstrom. Her sense of style and trend setting abilities quickly elevated her from sales associate, to department manager, on up to lead buyer for the Savvy department over an impressive 11 year span. While the lead buyer for Savvy (young women’s contemporary apparel) for all of Los Angeles, Eula was also appointed the lead European Coordinator, traveling to New York, Paris, London, Italy, Germany, and Spain in search of new fashion trends for the company.
Eula then transitioned to become the store manager for Nordstrom South Bay Galleria. As store manager she was responsible for the entire store’s operational aspects, human resources, accounting, profit and loss, and maintenance, etc. This opportunity expanded her range of operational novice, and Eula soon moved on to Regional Merchandise Manager for the designer area for Nordstrom Los Angeles.
Through speaking engagements, internship programs, and charitable contributions, Eula utilizes her platform to help build and encourage others who aspire to be a part of the fashion and retail industries.
